[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only complaint is when you set the timer once the oven has come to temp and you have placed what your cooking in the oven, once the timer goes off so does the oven, when baking cookies, this is NOT convenient at all since then you have to wait until the oven comes back to temp to put in additional cookies to bake. The interior of this oven is smaller than the previous oven of the same dimensions, so this was a surprise since several of the cooking pans will now not fit. I have to test the pan before using to make sure the oven door will close. This is the only annoying thing about the oven. The heat venting at the top is where it should be and works fantastic. The oven temperature seems to be cooking spot on along with the time it is suppose to take to cook things so this has been a pleasant surprise as well. Overall, just a very pleasant surprise and simplistic to use compared to some of the other double ovens. Definitely MUCH better than the high end ovens used in the past. So far so good. Was not sure about it, but really like it and the wifi features are pretty cool. Only one issue, the cord is not long enough if your box is not directly behind this stove. Shortest cord I have seen on a stove. About 3ft long. Also, very heavy in comparison to my older one, about 60lbs more. That surprised me, and it took me and another to lift it into place.. Esther. Very nice appliance in all ways except for the foul odor it gave off for the first five or so times I cranked it up to 550 (for hearth-style baking of bread and pizza). When it was installed the technician heated it up to 450 for 20 or so minutes, which was inadequate. Fortunately, we survived the chemically fumes, and are able to enjoy the appliance. One of my favorite functions is the proofing setting for bread/pizza dough. So, if you buy one of these, which I would recommend, prepare yourself for the long break-in period. Also, ours arrived with a bent roll-out rack, which the technician said his company (Allen and Peterson) would replace. Still waiting a month later. Not GE’s fault. Or maybe it is.. Dave X.
