I tried this set out out because I was looking for a couple red an white wine glasses and this set offered 8, four of each. Just as I expected, the Riedel quality is unmatched. The glasses are beautiful; I feel like I can dress these up for a nice dinner or use them in casual dinners too. I also like that there is just one red and one white glass.... sometimes I get confused with my other Riedels with so many varietal glasses. Lastly, I will point out that the stems on these are slightly thicker than my other Riedel glasses. While I enjoy a thinner glass, I think these stems will last longer and be more useful. Glasses are beautifully crafted and crystal clear. This is what they looked like after a run through the dishwasher. They arrived well packaged and within 24-48 hours of placing the order. I gave 4 stars because the glasses are very lightweight which gives them a “cheap feel“ IMO.
