The bottom cushions for this set are excellent. I saw some reviews where they did not look very thick and I was worried that they would have no substance to them. However, if you give them a chance to air out, they will fill close to 4 inches and match the thickness of my original patio set. I have to agree that the back cushions really fall short for this set. I ordered more than I needed to have extra cushions but ended up doubling up the interior cushions to fluff up the back cushions. If you have extra pillows at home that you don’t need, you could use with the cushion covers to get a better back cushion. I love the color and think the fabric is decent quality. We are just starting to use our cushions. The bottom cushions fit perfect but the back cushions need to be taller to fit our lazy boy aluminum frame furniture. I bought an outdoor couch with light grey cushions on Wayfair a couple years ago. The color was boring and they weren’t that comfortable. I found these in dark blue and the price was really good.
