The mat is lightweight but durable and much easier to keep clean than the metal mat I was previously using. The only thing I wish it had was an option for a square drain whole as opposed to just the choice of round (my sink has a square drain). Sturdy, well made and attractive. Sink is sufficiently protected from our clunky dish tossing ways. I was happy to find black because gray didn't look good in my kitchen. No stars lost but It's not the exact size I need and I think if you cut in the right areas it would look ok, better than some that don't have the vertical lines, but still it's not ideal to lose bottom feet/nubs, and I would suggest it's much better to find the right size if you at all can.
