[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 1974-installed oven with this one, and it's like I've joined the 21st century! I really love having the ability to switch between traditional oven cooking and convection cooking. Setting temps and cook times is extremely easy, and the self-cleaning feature works amazingly well (had to use it Christmas morning after the brown sugar/butter mixture for monkey bread overran the edges of the bundt pan)!! The only real negatives I can mention have to do with the minor disaster referenced in the previous sentence and the auto shutoff feature when timed cooking ends. While we had done exactly what the instructions told us to do as far as heating the oven and allowing it to bake for a certain amount of time prior to its first use, and had actually cooked pork chops and cookies in it since then, when the brown sugar/butter mixture overran the pan, the smoke and chemical-like fumes that billowed from the oven were noxious. The entire house was smelling like chemical fumes. That said, after we ran the self-clean feature, the oven has been just fine and we've had no more problems. Just not sure what happened. The only other issue is just frustrating. After the timer ends, the oven automatically shuts off. While I understand this is a safety feature (and I think it's a positive one), it can be frustrating. If the food isn't quite done, I have to turn the oven back on, reset the cook temp, and let the food continue to bake. This happens every time a timer is used, and the only way around it is to not set a timer. Just wish there were a way to set a timer AND keep the oven from not immediately shutting down. Overall, though, we've been very pleased with the purchase and would recommend the oven.. dgarrick. . 2023-01-06 17:00:04

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had my ovens less than a week. Here are my thoughts. The one glide rack is really nice, but it takes up an extra 2 inches in the oven, so that I have to remove the rack above it in order to fit a casserole with a lid. I do not like the oven turning off after the set timer. So I do not use the oven timer and set separate timers for the ovens, because sometimes foods need extra minutes of cooking or baking and then I would have to reset the oven again. I tried the steam clean because the chicken splattered all over the inside. The steam option cleaned some splatters but not the grease. I used the self clean next for 2 hours and it did a very good job. This is my first try at using air fry. I was disappointed that I had to buy something to use that feature, since the ovens did not come with the air fry basket and tray. The pad controls were very easy to understand and use. It requires a very light touch. I have never done convection cooking so that is on my list to try next. The install was not simple. The cabinet opening for my old 27 inch ovens was larger, so I need to buy a piece to cover the gap opening at the bottom. The width was perfect. We did have to move the electrical box higher inside the cabinet in order to push it all the way in. One final observation...the "beep" for the oven is ready" signal is the same sound as the smoke alarm. A bit unnerving at first, but I am finally getting used to that.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old stove was over 20 years old maybe 25 so I was really used to that stove. There are features about the new one that I’m not in love with for one thing I don’t know why you put the light switch on the very top of the stove. I think it takes away from the sleekness of the top and also I think it should be where the knobs for the jets are that was where my old stove had the light switch. I’m not a fan of the oven racks my old stoves rack seemed much weightier, and they also had a feature where when you pulled them out, they seem to have a stopping point I feel like the racks slide out almost too easily. Then there’s the burner piece where the flame comes out. On my old stove those pieces were removable so I could easily put them in my dishwasher for cleaning. I guess this is the new way of doing things, but these new burners are attached and now to clean them you have to stand by the stove with a toothbrush and scrub them. So much easier to throw pieces in a dishwasher And I am all about easy cleaning. The stove did come damaged but the store I purchased it from was able to get me a replacement within a week which was good. All in all it seems to be working fine so far and maybe I’m just a little picky, but I thought I’d point these things out and time will tell how well this appliance will work out. It looks nice and I did get compliments on it.. Mar72. . 2023-04-10 15:57:39
