This cooktop heats fast and holds temperature nicely. Overall materials seem to be high quality, and all functions as advertised. Overall, this is a nice product. I have two issues with the cooktop. First, the aluminum front edge looks nice, at first. It is soft and easily scratched by moving pans over its surface. Even clean smooth bottom pans can and will scratch the surface. Ours looked well used after the first 30 days. Too bad for such a nice cooktop. Second, the controls are not intuitive. You must turn on the burner by touching the symbol, but the temperature controls are only in the center symbol. Everyone who uses this cooktop tries to adjust the burner on the symbol for that burner. How hard would it have been to put a temperature switch in each symbol? You could have turned on the burner and adjusted the temperature in one motion. Note, these are minor annoyances, and should not detract from a very good product at a value price.. decapod.
