We ordered this to top a 36” cabinet and to create a crafting space. The wood is absolutely beautiful. It does have some deep imperfections like in the photo, but still pretty. It is scalloped on both of the long sides so you have to be careful if you’re putting it up against the wall. We chose not to plane it to make it straight because the scalloping is very pretty. I am able to use this for my needs however it is not accurately advertised. It is not reclaimed wood as it is hollow and absolutely exact to the photo which confirms it is manufactured for consistency, The photo is true and great effort has been put into making it look like real wood.
