The number one benefit of this step stool is that I did not have to put it together. It arrived ready to use, which immediately made me feel like I had made excellent life choices. And it is sturdy as hell. An elephant could stand on this thing. I’m not kidding. I’m not recommending you invite an elephant into your home for testing purposes, but if one happened to wander in and needed to reach the top shelf, I think we’d all be fine. It feels solid, well-made, and dependable — not wobbly, not flimsy, not one of those “please say a prayer before stepping up” situations.
