Your average cheap mattress, definitely much less supportive and not as firm as your typical firm mattress, but as to be expected for the price. It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. Love it! It is heavy, as it says it is, and doesn't require filling with sand or water which is nice. The wheels on the one side make it easier to move when on a smooth surface (otherwise I just pick it up entirely). These curtains look and feel like luxury. They are quite heavy so you can’t get away with not anchoring the curtain rod to the wall (I learned this the hard way). This may be obvious based on the material, but not great if you have cats or pets that can be in close contact, pet fur sticks to them and it’s hard to remove. I didn’t realize it had one and one of the pair I ordered has been leaking like a sieve and corroding for the last several months. Of course now I realize there is one, I am now one week out of warranty. I think the corrosion is a common occurrence with the bronze finish if you can’t keep them really dry, but not sure why both faucets I ordered are leaking so bad now because of my plumber or the product.
