These curtains look and feel like luxury. They are quite heavy so you can’t get away with not anchoring the curtain rod to the wall (I learned this the hard way). This may be obvious based on the material, but not great if you have cats or pets that can be in close contact, pet fur sticks to them and it’s hard to remove. I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. I have never owned a duvet, always just comforters. This is wonderfully soft and pretty light weight but kept me comfortable all night. I wasn’t too hot or too cold…just right. The duvet cover I bought had ties for the top bottom and sides, but the insert only has loops on the corners. Being a king size I wish it had more loops but as of right now it has worked nicely..
