To say I am pleasantly surprised with this mattress doesn’t describe how surprised I am with the quality of this mattress. I have spent so much money at the traditional mattress stores for mattresses that I haven't even liked. With this one, I had been skeptical about buying a mattress that came rolled up and had read so many mixed reviews but decided to give it a try. The mattress is a hybrid and medium, so not very plush, I personally would prefer a softer mattress, but I believe that with a box spring it would feel a bit softer, I am using a foundation now. I also bought a think mattress cover to give it a little more plush. The mattress did not have any bad smells which was something I read in many reviews. It also recovered its shape fairly quickly, I would say in about one day. It was interesting that it also comes with a cutter to open the plastic bag, I can now use the tool as a letter opener. It is comfortable for sleeping, but again, I like softer mattresses. I slept mostly on one side and can tell it is caving in a little, but that would happen to any mattress, I need to flip it over every so often. We have had this mattress for just a little while now and overall I’m really happy with it for the price. It expanded quickly after opening and surprisingly had no odor at all, which I was honestly expecting with a boxed mattress. The medium feel seems pretty accurate. It’s comfortable without feeling overly soft, and I haven’t been waking up sore or stiff. One thing I did notice is it has a little more bounce than I expected from a hybrid mattress, so if you prefer an extra still memory foam feel, that’s something to keep in mind. It also looks really nice once set up and gives the bed a much more updated feel. Love this mattress! It is heavy! But there are 2 handles each, on each side of the mattress to make for an easy lift with another person! It is true to size in thickness! We had to get deep pocket sheets because our regular ones kept coming off. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because it is a little softer than I like. I wish it was a bit more firm.
