Just having to have emergency hamstring reattachment surgery to where I was laid up in bed for almost 6 weeks I was so afraid that I wouldn't be comfortable and not be able to get any rest to heal. That couldn't have been further from the truth. This mattress is firm and holds my body. I don't "sink in" like foam mattresses. It has just enough give in the padding on the very top so that you know you're not laying on " a board". I can only be comfortable being on firm mattresses and this is extremely helpful to my back and to my recovery for my hamstring. I wouldn't give this mattress up if God himself asked me for it. One of the best mattresses I’ve ever owned! It arrived quickly and well packaged. Once we opened up the wrapping, it expanded really quickly. I bought this mattress to go on an adjustable frame. This mattress works great in it. The only disappointment was the edge of the mattress doesn’t seem to be reinforced as described.
