I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile. The bookcase is well made for the price point and went together very well, even though it took me 1.5-2 hours as I carefully read the well-written instructions at each step. It was actually enjoyable to assemble. It’s not real wood, of course, but it doesn’t look flimsy or low-grade. The anti-tip brackets work well for attaching to the wall.
