Having read several reviews describing problems with reversing the door swing, I may have discovered the cause and simple solution to fix it. It seems the internal threads on the alternate door bracket may have been painted during product manufacture. I had difficulty getting the bracket bolts started until running a 1/4-20 thread chaser into each threaded hole. Bracket bolts started and seated easily after cleaning-up the threads. So far I'm very happy. The slide out shelves are not on guides so they do not pull out the way, but are functional and attractive. Also, shelves are easily removed if you have over sized bottles or want to stack bottles. I looked for a long time to find a larger wine cooler that was reasonable priced and also energy efficient. Left door came off in my hand when I opened it. The two bottom door pin screws were MIA. The two Right bottom door pin screws were not even hand tight and these screws were chamfered; why is the great unknown. Placed door back on temporarily. Sourced 4 new stainless pan head machine screws, applied blue locktite and re-secured both doors post alining them and the appropriate reveal (gap). I did not experience any peculiar loud noises on start up and have not heard any weird noises since, to date. Settings are self explanatory and require no "manual" reference. I have no complaint on light switch on right side only nor do I have issue with light "timing out" as some other reviewers had mentioned. Bought the Lanbo 52 after researching several brands and websites. The purchase through Wayfair was simple. Unit was delivered undamaged earlier than stated when ordered. Wayfair sent guidelines for proper set up a couple of days before arrival. I enjoy the look and feel of the wood shelving. Storage numbers are dependent on the type of bottle. The bottom shelf is tall enough to double stack any sized bottle. I currently have 40 bottles with room for more. The top shelf, is a little tight because of the control unit. I've had it running since November, with no issues with temperature differential between stated actual temperature and the temperature I set. I am using the Lanbo as a stand alone. Highly recommend..
