This Suncast vanilla resin outdoor vertical cabinet is exactly what I was looking for for our BBQ storage needs. I hope it holds up. I wanted a place to store the utensils, oils and other items that’s not a deck box. I don’t know about storing paper plates or paper towels yet, I don’t know if things inside would get wet. When I buy the next bunch I’ll try it. Wayfair had the best price that I could find for the cabinet and A mazon had the best price for the shelves as they do NOT come with it. I will say that the shelves help it stay more square. Our patio (laid by previous owner) is not level, it’s greatly sloped but I had no issues putting it together myself. Doing all of it, the cabinet and the shelves took less than an hour. Oh and I love the color, so sick of brown! This matches our patio furniture, dark colors draw the heat of the sun. I love this chest. I got it because I needed a blanket chest right away but can't afford a large enough all wood one right now. I decided to go ahead and get this one to use indoors now and then put it on my deck later. I may never put it on the deck, though. I like the way it looks, and it is just the right size to suit my needs. It fits perfectly at the foot of my double bed and holds two large comforters and two sets of plush sheets with room to spare. (Incidentally, the electric fireplace, the teal comforter, the rust comforter and the 2 sets of plush sheets you see in these pics are also from Wayfair! :) I was a little worried that the chest would smell like plastic, but it has no odor at all. It was extremely easy to put together. I did use a rubber mallet to tap the connections, but that's not really necessary. It just snaps together. It took me less than 15 minutes to assemble this piece. It is very sturdy, and I'm sure two average sized adults can sit on it with no problem. It is a little tall for me (5'6") to sit on comfortably for an extended period of time, but it's fine as a bench for sitting for a few minutes for changing shoes or whatnot. For storage indoors or outdoors, this is a great buy. It might be a little dangerous as storage for kids' toys because it is so tall. A child trying to reach a toy on the bottom could easily fall in. It's huge, maybe I didn't fully read the dimensions, but ultimately perfect b/c I think it will hold nearly all of our many chair and sofa cushions. Regardless, the exterior looks so great. So much better than the faux wicker look you see everywhere else. And the color is much better than the "tan" or "espresso" you see all over. The greige-ish color is so current. Plus it's extra seating for our covered porch. I put some decorative pillows on top and it blends right in as furniture and not bulky storage. I'm so pleased. Oh - and assembly wasn't too difficult; my husband did it alone within an hour. Probably more like 30 minutes. I rarely leave detailed reviews, but am so impressed with these Suncast cabinets, I felt the need to do so.I bought the first one from another vendor because it was on sale considerably less than original price. Put it together SO easily, and loved it right away. Few days later I went to buy a second one and the sale was off. So I googled it and Wayfair then had it on sale, same sale rice with free shipping. So bought the second one. They basically slide and snap together. Sounds like that's a cheap way to do it, but it's not. They are very heavy, very well made and very sturdy. I have both on my covered pier. One I keep all my fish cleaning supplies, crawfish platters, paper towels, dishwashing soap, brushes, etc in and still have room. They are very deep and just holding the huge crawfish platters was the selling point for me. It is SO nice to catch a few fish and have everything right there to clean them, or sit out and eat crabs or crawfish without having to haul everything back and forth inside. The second one holds my fishing supplies I don't always bring in the boat with me, and odds and ends that I like to keep nearby on the pier. The colors go well with my fence, screened porch and patio furniture. They just blend in. There IS very small vent holes....really slits, in the back so I don't think they would be completely waterproof, but I'd say very little water would get in. The vent holes are needed, and I'm glad they are there. They have door locks on the bottom you can slide up and down with your foot, and they work great. I'm completely happy with these cabinets, and would 100% recommend. The sale price just sweetened the purchase of something I would have bought anyway. Thanks Wayfair and Suncast!!. Teleca. What a difference this shed made. It is quite sturdy, well made and looks great. When putting it together, I missed a step (a bar that is supposed to be attached to the underside of the lid at the front edge), but it seems to work fine without it. Since that would have added weight that would make opening the lid a little harder for me, I chose to leave it off. As far as difficulty in assembling ... on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most difficult, I would rate it at about a 4.
