I'm very pleased with this trashcan! It's easy to take apart and uses a standard plastic bag you would get at the grocery store. The edges of the bag are covered so it has clean lines and a modern look. The shell is shiny (which adds to the high end feel) and is easy to wipe clean. The plastic its made of is not super thick, but is very sturdy. The downward sloped lip makes sure all the trash falls in where it belongs. I'm delighted with this purchase. I have new cabinets in my kitchen and one was a drawer that was to hold two trash cans, one for trash and one for recycling. However they did not come with the cans. In searching several websites for cans that would fit, all seemed to be too big or way too small. On Wayfair's site, I was pleased to see a diagram with both bottom and top measurements of the trash cans. The bottoms would sit in my drawer, and while the top measurements were larger than the drawer space, they were smaller than the drawer opening. Lovely duel chamber trash can. The lids are quiet & quick to open with the foot pedal, & they lower slowly & silently. The soft finish on the bronze exterior looks great while also being "fingerprint-free." One thing to note is that the custom fit Songmic trash bags don't fit this model as well as generic non-branded trash bags. If you want the lift handle for the removable trash can to be outside the trash bag/acessible, then using the Songmics trash bag means the lid to the trash will be left ajar. If you choose to cover the lift handle with the Songmics trash bag, then the trash can lid is left just slightly raised.
