Very sturdy but the directions were not very clear. Just so you know you will have to have a drill to put in some screws. I have used it to get into the pool and it's much better than the ladder that came with it but we attached it to a wooden deck that we built. Of course because it's a half ladder... Camille. ID. These stairs were so easy to put together I was amazed. Just make sure to follow the directions because we put all the stairs in when we were just supposed to put the first one on and we had to then take them all off which was a little trickery. We put the sand in them so they won’t float up like it says which was tedious but it will be worth it. I also love that they won’t’t take up too much room in the pool.. Elizabeth. Wickliffe, OH. I got this ladder for my above ground pool. The ladder that came with my pool is flimsy and unsafe so we needed something more sturdy and wider. This ladder fits those needs! Unfortunately I didn’t realize that I would need to add sand into it (makes sense) and so I haven’t gotten to put it in my pool yet. However, I can tell that it will be perfect. I appreciate the pattern on the stairs to add grip!. Hannah. Macon, GA. Mon Jun 29 2026
