Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. This rough valve by Hansgrohe is expertly designed to fit the Axor Starck Rough-in Valve for Starck Shower Column. This valve is required for installation and will not work on any product except the Starck Shower Column.

I originally ordered a generic substitute from another site before I found this one on Perigold. The substitute was of poor quality and didn’t have the same finished appearance as the original I was replacing. The one from Perigold is an original Kohler product in an original Kohler bag.
