This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend.. Beautiful table but came in damaged.. Joy. Albuquerque, NM. Fri Aug 07 2026

This extendable dining table features a classic pedestal base that easily adjusts to accommodate family meals and weekend gatherings. Crafted from solid rubberwood, it pairs timeless design with day-to-day functionality in your dining space. The central butterfly leaf mechanism seamlessly expands the surface space to seat up to six people for casual dinners or special occasions. When retracted, the compact profile keeps your room feeling open and uncrowded. It also features a sturdy turned column that provides balanced support across the entire base.

Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. There is a little crack right in the middle of the leaf which was there upon arrival but a centerpiece can cover this up. All in all I like the look of the table. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

Great table! It arrived in perfect condition. The legs are screw-in so they install quickly. I'm going to use my table as a desk as well as for meals, so I wanted a table with legs for extra stability, and I was surprised to find out it's difficult to find a 40-42" table with legs that doesn't look extremely basic. This one has nicely-shaped legs. I didn't try the extension mechanism yet. I only wish it had come in black but the gray color is nice.. Sandra. Chicago, IL. Mon Jul 20 2026
