I have squirrels that frequently visit my patio and they love to dig in the dirt in my planters. I purchased these rocks to prevent the squirrels from doing that. The rocks work perfectly for the purpose that I bought them, and are also very attractive. Each bag of rocks covers 1.5 square feet. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes. I ordered them in black and when they are dry they arent as dark or as shiny as I was expecting. There were also some broken rocks in the bag. Overall, however, I am very pleased with this purchase.. The rocks are a perfect touch with my deck tiles that I’m currently laying! However it took about 5-6 bags just to cover this small section you see in the photo. If you’re adding rocks to a small section I would recommend but if you’re doing a rock garden it will get pretty pricey to get enough bags to complete your project.
