Update I should have listened to recent reviews. This rug sheds and threads pull so easily I’ll be lucky if it lasts a year. Pretty color, super disappointing quality for the price. Original It’s new so I’ll update agin in 30 days but I’m super happy with this! The blue is not as teal colored as other reviews and photos indicated, but is a true navy imo. It’s soft, edge went down immediately , and it’s a nice heavy weight. I will want a new rug pad but that’s just my preference for plushness. Really hope it lasts and shedding is temporary.. Michelle. Starting with water-resistant Recycled Polyester that is space-dyed in updated fashion tones, our weaver's handcraft alternates rows of cut and loop piles to achieve a sophisticated tone-on-tone effect. Incorporating a water-resistant, Polyester backing material makes for simple water clean-up and allows for the use in “Semi outdoor” locations that may be exposed to the elements.

This rug is exactly as pictured, and is as comfortable as a regular indoor rug. We bought to use in a poolguest house, so were looking for something comfortable cut that would also hold up to getting wet sometimes. I have this rug in several sizes though out my house. It is fairly think and well made. The runners and small round one I have do not really shed and have held up great.
