Pretty straight forward and easy to install. My husband (who isn't too handy) was able to do it himself. It is very heavy so two people may be needed since it's 110lbs. The gold matches my daughter bathroom and it looks beautiful. The back is shorter than our last one but it's good since my four year old is able to teach the buttons by herself. The lid is soft closing so no more slamming of the cover. Feels great and looks just as clean and sleek. Really nice toilet. High quality at a good price. Good flushing power with this 1.6 GPM model. Packaging was sufficient to protect during shipment. Came in two parts, tank assembly and toilet bowl. Assembly instructions were descriptive and straight forward, installation took me about 90 minutes from start to finish after old toilet had been first removed. The tank parts came preassembled with valve, float and handle so nothing tricky during installation. Note that the two flange mounting bolts for the toilet bowl are quite long so you'll need a hack saw or power tool to cut them down to enable installing the plastic caps. I recently purchased the Deer Valley 2-piece toilet, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with my choice. The installation was pretty straightforward, although I have to say that the directions could have been clearer at times. I managed to figure it out without too much hassle, but I can see how it might confuse someone less handy. One feature that stands out is the water-saving flush. This is my second Bcanhome smart bidet and I absolutely love it! I originally bought one at my home in Arizona and realized how much I would miss it when I was at my Wisconsin house, so I ordered another one and it arrived within a day.
