Quite impressed with this item. It is very durable. I love that the trays are removable for accidents and it also collects the shedding coat. I think our dog is not in love with the slatted base BUT he goes in there thoughout the day. It’s definitely escape proof. Our GSP beat the previous crate locks within a week. Our dog is only in her crate occasionally but due to some behavioral issues (shes a rescue with a terrible past) we will need a crate available, so I wanted something that looked like a piece of furniture. My husband and I spent just about over an hour putting it together. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend it. My -1 star is for when you pull the corner protectors off, be careful! This dog crate is the best thing I’ve ever bought for my two puppies they can play init Ican separate them. It’s just wonderful. It’s so easy to clean. I spread paper in the tray and when the tray when the paper is dirty, I just pull it out take the paper away wipe it down or wash it and I’m done. I advise anyone that has more than one dog.
