I’m very impressed with how this turned out. It was a lot of pieces to put together but looks great in the end. I got the blue color and love how it looks. The color changing options on the fireplace are fun to play around with. I’m a little disappointed in the heat feature. Thought it would heat up my living room better than it does. I also read some complaints about a smell. I do notice a slight smell to it but I think it’s just because it is new. It’s also very mild and doesn’t bother me at all. A surprisingly elegant fake fireplace! Clear assembly instructions, took about 2 hrs. The fire in the pic is the standard flame (yellow) at the highest setting (55). It has five or six different colors—one of the pics is the multi-colored flame. It’s pretty trippy. Works well for my guest bedroom. The “logs” on the bottom glow constantly, while the flames flicker. It’s soothing to look at. I think it would’ve been nicer to have the “logs” flicker some too, but maybe that’s a different price point. ) without the heater on, it is totally silent. The “bone” color of the fireplace is really neutral—not really warm or cool, so works with other neutrals (my wall color is beige with a tint of khaki the carpet is light beige). I’m only using it for decoration. The heater works but it blew out the surge protector immediately, though I’ve had heaters in that room before.
