when I first saw this table online, I loved the simple yet sleek look it had and thought this would go great with our style. When it arrived, the box was so tattered, I thought for sure that pieces were cracked/missing or bent. The table is made of MDF so I didn't expect a lot. Though the instructions seemed simple enough, the top isn't as sturdy/heavy as the previous one we had (that is being replaced by this. I highly doubt that this would fit 8 people, six maybe. It really elevated the entire room and gives off a designer look without the designer price tag. Assembly was fairly straightforward, and overall the table feels sturdy. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the areas of the table without direct support underneath can feel a little wobbly if too much weight is leaned on them.
