This bench was very easy to assemble. I just had to bolt the legs on and the tool to tighten was provided. It looks perfect in our space. The fabric is nice quality and the welting was done well. It is a cushioned top but very firm!! We do not plan to use this bench on a regular basis but I imagine if you were using it more frequently it would soften up. Beautiful solid wood bench! I purchased this bench to go with my new Lagond dining table and sideboard, it’s a pretty close match! It’s heavy and sturdy. Assembly was easy and had no issues. The tools, and bench came in perfect condition! My only issue is finding a single cushion to fit. Most are twice as expensive as the bench itself. Even to custom make it myself.
