After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor.. Made in USA! As of today, my shed is 90% assembled. Not too physically difficult to put together but definitely need two people. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm pleased with the shed I finished two days ago. We're using it as storage and a workshop while we convert our garage into a playroom for our kids. There are several things we like about it, including the design, ample space, affordable price, and the fact that it's easy to maintain with just a pressure wash. However, there are a few downsides. Since it's made of plastic, some of the pieces didn't fit together as smoothly as expected, despite my efforts to level the platform and deburr the edges. Specifically, some of the corner trim was slightly too long, which prevented the corner roof panels from fitting properly. Additionally, the holes in the top tiles didn't line up exactly with the main roof panels, even though the panels lined up with the trusses and walls. The window latches were also difficult to turn, and I had to trim the plastic inserts significantly to get them to work. I'll need to contact Lifetime to get a couple of replacement windows due to a manufacturing defect. Despite these minor issues, I'm satisfied with the shed overall. I did have some difficulty putting most of it together alone. The doors absolutely require two people, so it's definitely easier with help throughout. I'm glad I received good help with the doors. I didn't need to level or have any issues with the door assembly. I love the rolling double door and single door. It's great to open it up in nice weather and makes it convenient for ventilation when using a table saw and then blowing out the sawdust. The directions, YouTube video, and BILT app were helpful and straightforward. If you have DIY experience, it's not overwhelming, but it's still a big project that took me a full workweek to complete. There were a lot of screws and bolts, and it was much more time-consuming than the two other plastic sheds I've built before. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently got this shed and love it! I was really drawn to the exterior and the overall style of the shed. It compliments our house so well. I liked the added gable above the door, the details of the windows in the doors, as well as the window (which actually opens to give additional airflow) with cute shutters really give it a lot of personality. The exterior really does have the look and texture of wood, but I'm thrilled I won't be having to paint it every few years. It is not just a basic functional shed, it actually improves the overall look of our yard. This shed is also very functional. It has steel posts in each of the walls and steel rafters so it is very well built and sturdy. We live in an area prone to a lot of wind so I was initially concerned about the durability of the material, but once we built it, I'm confident it'll stand up great. I also really love the attention to storage detail. It comes with two shelves included that span the entire width of one wall, and lots of options on locations on several walls to hang them. There are tons of spaces and kits you can buy for additional shelving if you need. The shelves are reinforced with metal rods and very stable. I also liked the hooks that it comes with that attach the wall perfect for holding lawn tools or extension cords. The double doors open up very wide and we measured and our riding lawn mower will fit with no problem once we get it up and running this season. The doors also have a sturdy locking mechanism and are reinforced with steel so they are very secure. The second door has a pin mechanism to keep it shut, so you only have to open both doors when you need to. The windows on the wall and door both provide plenty of light, but the entire top of the shed is actually translucent skylights so it is very well lit and bright. My husband is also 6'4" tall and can comfortably walk around inside. We have had several spring storms bringing wind, snow, sleet, and rain since we assembled this shed and have had no issues with leaking water whatsoever! We had no problems assembling it, but just be aware it does take time. It took about 10 hours for my husband and I to put it together. I would definitely recommend assembling it on completely level ground. If it was unlevel it would be much more difficult to assemble. The manual was very clear and the directions were easy to follow. The parts were all labeled very well and easy to identify. The manual tells you exactly which parts you need for each step and even the hardware is separated into individual labeled bags for each stage of assembly. Overall, we are very happy with our shed! Not only does it provide a sturdy and secure place to store our outdoor accessories, it adds character and personality to our yard while doing it. It's a really great value!. Rachelann02. The shed is very good. It definitely takes two people three would be better to put it together to hold the panels up in place and to get everything where it’s supposed to be and just a word of warning. Make sure that you anchor it to a wall or it will blow over. I had this shed tucked into a corner right up against house. I cannot believe that when got in there, but it blew it over and it was full of yard things it was a mess. I had to pull everything out of the bottom, which is open and anchor it into the wall, so don’t make the mistake like I did and think that just because it’s full, the weight is gonna keep it up in a high wind because it will not. UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER: you must attach this to your house. i did not attach it to my house even though i had it tucked in a small space right up against the house with the chimney to one side. i thought it was secure because the whole thing is also in an enclosed fenced yard and didn't think the wind would get behind it at all. . that being said it blew over one evening when it was TOTALLY FILLED! What a mess. i had to pull everything out of the bottom and get 2x people to stand it up. the back popped open and one of the panels got damaged. all and all it was ok but we now attached it to the house. so don't make my mistake and think all the weight you have in it will keep it from blowing over..it will not. even in an enclosed area..
