Nice, sturdy unexpectedly gigantic! This was purchased initially as a hot tub shelter then will be a privacy sun shielding and smokers tent. After looking at various motorcycle sheltertents camping tents, yurts, ice fishing shelters, gazebos car canopies I spotted this late last month. Although its just a tad too large for the space it works and nicely. I couldnt get over how tall this gazebo is! It must be close to 10-11 in height! Ill admit I was excited to hear that it had a very large snow load capacity. Unfortunately it did collapse with a 3-in wet snow we had a few days back. It took a relatively small amount of time to get it back up without too much effort. It took a little getting used to and hopefully Ill get to the 60 second pop-up procedure, but due to the odd size of the deck that it is within, it took quite a bit of tugging and pulling with two people working opposite ends. I found that bungee cords worked beautifully in securing the tent in three of the four corners. The fourth corner would have been awkward and too hard to secure to even bother try. We are in a windy spot and again it took a little bit of adjusting, but I think we have it down to a science. My plans for the summer are to move it out front onto my enormous patio. I have a 10x10 space to the right of my stairs front landing. This will provide the perfect two to three season spot with a few comfortable chairs, table and plants. I find that it does reduce the wind considerably and does provide privacy, although Im sure Ill add some kind mesh interior fabric on the side directly facing my neighbor. Good deal on perfect shelter finally found!. Leslie. Quakertown PA. 2022-02-15 21:46:59
