I couldn’t have found a better shelf for the space I needed. We live in an old house that we are remodeling so needless to say our spaces are wonky. We have a space next to our safe and this shelf fits perfectly in width depth and height. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. It caused the piece to crack a little which is ok since this is hidden and for storage. Impressed with the hardware - all metal. And it comes with a magnetic screw driver! This tall rattan bookcase was fairly easy to put together. The lights are embedded through the top and they can be dimmed or brightened. The range is actually impressive. The material is very nice and sturdy as well. There were no cracks while building this. I am going to buy a third one and make it a tiny library area.
