The space between the fences is very narrow at 1.37 inches, which prevent puppies, kittens or children to squeeze through or get their heads stuck between the fences. And this safety gate is adjustable in width, making it possible to safely divide areas where pets or babies should not enter, such as kitchens, entrances, or staircases. It can be adjusted to fit the space, making it very convenient.
