This Y-latch is just what I was looking for, it is a little bigger then i needed, but it won't work with my gate. the space between the gate and the post is too small. I think you need at least 2in. Years ago, we installed a hunter green door with a digital lock in Texas, and it was fantastic. However, we eventually had to replace the digital lock. Unfortunately, the company shifted to high-volume production and now only offers key locks. Aside from that, it's a sturdy door. We also had the option of etched glass, but they decided to stick with standard glass instead, limiting our choices. It's disappointing!
