Arrived two days ago. I paid to have it dropped directly onto my concrete pad. Got electrical hooked up yesterday, filled it up last night, got in it this morning. The good stuff It looks good, should be very reliable given how simple it is, and was a great price. The not-so-good stuff They sent me the wrong color, the ozonator was broken upon arrival, the drain connection is tucked back under the tub and has no shutoff valve, the jets control is just one button but still manages to be confusing. But, at the end of the day, I just want some hot water, with jets, and not have it die every six months. So, Im mostly a happy customer. 1 Week Update Just a heads-up, exactly where the cover lift arm attaches, theres a vertical strap in the way (see my photo). So, to screw-on the cover lift arm, I had to use 0.25 spacers at each screw location. Not the end of the world, but pretty annoying. 3 Month Update Its been great, but three annoying things that have revealed themselves worth mentioning. (1) The filter lid cover floats away under any, any surge of water. (2) There is no shutoff valve on the drain port. It cost me only 15 to add one, but kind of silly. (3) Expect a lot of leaching from the metal components over the first several months. It discolors the water. Im on my 4th refill now. Hopefully its done with the leaching. 6 Month Update All pretty much the same as the 3 month update, but I will add that the fact that one of the drink holders is at such an angle that no drink could ever actually sit there is a bit frustrating.. This spa includes everything you need to have the premium spa experience, starting when you use the built-in cover lifter to easily remove the cover before stepping onto the included deluxe storage step w/planters and handrail to enter the spa. It’s easy to get comfortable with the beautifully contoured, lumbar-supported captain’s seats featuring pillowed headrests, cool-off seats, and interior steps. Enjoy the soothing and powerful massage created by the Jacuzzi 3hpr pump that powers the 28 stainless steel jets. The DayDream 2800S features an adjustable waterfall that creates a resort-like experience while in the spa. Store and keep your beverages cool with the built-in cooler and 8-cup holders. Our 2800 Series hot tubs are heated by Friction Heat - when the motor is running it creates roughly 1KW of heat, combined from the friction created by the water rushing through the pump and plumbing provides adequate heating to increase the temperature by roughly 1°F per hour. This spa features a Plug-n-Play 120V electrical plug that is easily installed into any standard outlet. The Daydream 2800S has everything you need to create the backyard space you’ve always dreamed of. Ozone system, pillows, locking safety cover, factory warranty, and free delivery included. Write a review and receive a rebate!

I had some buyers remorse after I purchased this and read some additional reviews about how it had trouble heating up. I didn't realize it didn't use a standard electric spa heater. When I saw "Friction Heating" I thought that was in addition to normal electric heating and was a motor heat recovery unit and an energy saving feature. This was very new to me as the last time I bought a spa was 30 years ago. After installing and using it for going on 4 months, I must say I am impressed with the function and performance so far. It does take around 24 hours to get to from 75 to 100 degrees but once it got there it maintains the set temperature very well. Some of the reviews mentioned that it had a hard time heating in cold weather and maybe that is true for them but here in Florida I haven't had any problems even during some of the 30 degree cold fronts we had. The spa shell is very solid and seems durable. It has decent number of jets and water movement and we are really enjoying this spa. Now for my observations on what could be better. As some of the other reviews have mentioned the outer shell is very thin vinyl panels. Not a problem so far but they are pretty flimsy and hurricane force winds might cause them to buckle. The pump and control access panel is this same vinyl material and it is held in place by screws so to access anything you have to unscrew it rather than via a hinged door access like most spas. The single speed pump works fine but it would be nice to be able to add a little more massage power to the jets. A two speed pump would be preferable. Lastly, the instruction manual should be specific to a single spa model and not cover multiple models where some of the functions and features aren't pertinent to the one you are working with. Would I recommend this spa? For the solid inner shell, user friendly controls, and the included accessories, in this price range, all delivered free to your home in less than a week? Yes, I recommend this spa.. William. Jensen Beach, FL. Thu Jul 09 2026

Absolutely love this hot tub! It was easy to set up, heats up well, and is the perfect size. The jets are relaxing, and it has already become our favorite way to unwind after a long day. The quality exceeded my expectations, and it looks great too. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great hot tub!. Nicole. Fernandina Beach, FL.
