This futon looks great and was fairly easy to put together. It’s is extremely heavy so I needed help carrying the pieces from the box to the lower level to built it. I can not figure out how to keep the back straight up - it seems to only have recline options so being up against the wall is what’s holding the back up. It’s a solid, comfortable and sturdy futon. It has a fuzzy material that’s hard to see in the pictures. So far so good. Hope it holds up. UPDATE: Had it for 8 months now & it’s solid. Pleasantly surprised. The couch looks great! It is firm but comfy . Although, I don’t think I trust it as a sleeper sofa since there is no bar or handles that come out of the part that reclines to brace weight. I envision the top bending or breaking .
