Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. Monument Grills offers pre-seasoned cookware without synthetic chemicals. Use the flat side for pancakes, eggs, crispy pizza, etc., and the ribbed side for meats, steaks, broiling, and more. The cast iron grill/griddle heats up within a few minutes. Clean it with hot water, dry it, then use a paper towel with cooking oil to wipe it all over, distributing the heat evenly.

Unfortunately our side burner was accidentally turned on by a guest, who didn’t realize it was the side burner, lid down so we have an unsightly burn ring on the lid…we tried to order new one last summer, late in season, out of stock.
