Installation was a bit tricky as this was the first custom shower drain I have installed but I was able to figure it out. Once installed this drain is awesome. The large water collection area prevents any kind of pooling and has a luxurious feel about it. Did a lot of research before purchasing a bidet toilet seat, and this one was the luxury pick by Wirecutter in the New York Times. So thankful I found it for a great price at Wayfair, and it's even better than I imagined it would be. It does require electricity so I had to have an electrician put in a new electrical outlet, but this brand also offers a non-electric one, which I may purchase for a different bathroom at some point. The effortless enjoyment of Gerber® Plumbing Fixtures floor mount tub fillers begins with the simple installation of the rough-in valve. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation. A test cap and plugs are included for pressure testing the connection between the rough-in valve and water supply lines.
