This unit is massive! Fabulous, but massive! It arrived in 3 separate very large, oversized boxes. They were so heavy that we opened them on our porch and carried the pieces inside. The smartest thing we did was reach out to Wayfair and added professional assembly services once we saw the over 40 page manual. It took the professional just under 4 hours to complete, which was more than worth the cost. The unit was a bargain at the price. The cabinetry is sturdy and will add so much storage to our room, while allowing us spaces to display our art. Everything arrived in perfect condition and every last piece was there - not a bolt or screw missing. The lighting is beautiful and even the display backing is well made. We also added the no-tip hardware to assure the unit stays in place. With all the positives, only minor complaint is the alignment of the drawers, but we can deal with that. These are nice storage cabinets. It took about 8 hours to assemble two units. We put 2 of these cabinets in a nook in a bedroom. They fit perfectly Instructions were clear and helpful. The shelves are stationery but will hold many things. We like the added glass doors at the top, which make it a little nicer in appearance. I gave 4 stars because 1 of the tall doors came with only 2 holes bored for the hinges. So we had to wait for it to be replaced before we could finish. Wayfair is very fast to respond to damage or parts issue and they worked with the manufacturer to get the door replaced in just a few days! It did take 2 people to place the top of the unit onto the bottom half safely. This is a very nice piece and went together very well. When I ordered this, I didn't look closely enough at the dimensions. This cabinet is huge. It is also very heavy. It is a good looking cabinet with tons of storage. It took me a while to get it built with a few snags along the way but it looks nice now that it's done. The lights make it look really good. The drawers are soft touch to open and they work perfectly. I struggled to get the doors adjusted evenly so decided close enough was good enough for me. All in all, I'm happy with this cabinet.. Decent piece, but arrived with several scratches and dings. It's almost impossible to get through to customer service lately, and when you do, they are having "technical issues" so you need to call back later. Not worth the hassle of trying to return. Regardless, the first few steps are a big tricky to get through because the directions are less than clear. My advice is to put each sections together and attach, versus trying to build from the bottom up. It spins nicely, even on carpet and with a bit of weight from books and decorations. This will be absolutely gorgeous when it is done. Because I tried to move it two pieces were damaged. I am waiting on the parts to come in. It is very heavy and will require two people to finish, although most of it can be done by one person. Do not try to move it by yourself, get the second person. This has beautiful doors, great sidecorner shelves, not dinky ones at all. The trim is very nice. The manufacturer and Wayfair were very quick to get me the parts I need and they are on the way. I am so glad for that. The instructions are very clear and all the parts are clearly listed. Again, do not try moving this alone, two people are necessary. We needed a tall but relatively slim bookcase. This fit the bill. Let me tell you a couple hints. Basically this is 3 units all screwed together. It works great and it makes assembly really easy. The directions to assemble show that you can construct this with some of the shelves offset from one another. It actually looks pretty nice and if I had a bit wider space I might have tried it. When I ordered this, I didn't look closely enough at the dimensions. This cabinet is huge. It is also very heavy. It is a good looking cabinet with tons of storage. It took me a while to get it built with a few snags along the way but it looks nice now that it's done. The lights make it look really good. The drawers are soft touch to open and they work perfectly. I struggled to get the doors adjusted evenly so decided close enough was good enough for me. All in all, I'm happy with this cabinet..
