This is a nice retractable screen door. It is made for a sliding glass door but I installed on a regular door. The screen frame sticks out from the door frame. I painted it to match the color of the door and it blends in. The screen works very well and it closes easily with a latch mechanism. You can adjust the latch to work easily either up or down. Installation was very easy. We did it with 2 people. You first assemble the sides and then lift it into place and screw to your door frame. Nothing to it. I originally left a terrible review because there was no brackets in my shipment. But today I just saw these doors installed for the first time and I am changing my review to a five! These doors are gorgeous! They are 12 feet wide and 8 feet high and they are beautiful! The delivery was great, the packaging was great, The value was great, and the result was awesome! The door is an attractive, high quality, 5-star product; installation instructions and process are a 3 to 4-star. We just installed new vinyl siding and aluminum soffit and fascia on our house and screened in our front porch. I wanted an attractive, quality door that would be maintenance-free. I also wanted a 5-bar style so my dog could sit inside and look out, but couldn't punch through the screen after a squirrel or something. My perfect door was very hard to find available to ship within a week, but this one fit the order perfectly! I had my contractor install it, and he said the instructions were definitely lacking. On the pros, you can set it up (left/right) exactly how you need to, but then nothing is predrilled or set on the door when it arrives in the box. So, it could be tough for a novice. Good packaging--no issues there. Some issues and slight delay with FedEx--not Wayfair's fault. Overall, I'd buy the door again and do recommend because it's perfect!. Dana.
