The glass panel itself was very nice and the brackets are also good quality. I'd give it a higher rating and possibly should have went with a 3 but it seems like my concerns are a bit more focused around the misc. items and not quality. For example - there weren't any instructions. not that big of a deal, I did have someone install it for me, but it would have been good to know at what spacing is best recommended for mounting. Divided equally? one high, one low and one in the middle? Also, a hole got punched through the box at some point (at factory?, during shipping?). My daughter didn't notice when they moved the box into the house and in fairness there are many holes in the box. There wasn't a signature required, so there wasn't an option to accept or decline delivery. We had the unit on-hand for at least 2 weeks prior to having it installed, so I didn't think I could return it. Unfortunately, that hole caused a chip in the glass.
It must have been something really heavy/tough to go through the packing and tough enough to scratch thick tempered glass. Which is why I lean towards it happening may be with a forklift or something; however, the plastic wrap that surrounded the packing was also cut (the hole where my fingers are (not my thumb) in the photo is the one that goes all the way through and to the glass. All my daughter was concerned with is that she didn't hear glass in the box. We ended up installing it with the chip towards the bottom. It should be hidden by the toilet anyway. The screws and drywall support were small. Again, not really the manufacturers fault. they don't know what people are installing it on, so they wouldn't have known that I was installing it onto tile and the screws were pretty short considering the tile width, mud, etc. I know it sounds like a lot of complaints but again, each situation is going to be different. Word of caution, check the packaging.. Tina. CA. 2017-04-09 13:24:34
