We bought this unit to replace a Spacesaver II model that worked well for 24 years (!). This one fit the same space as the old one, with the added feature of a turntable, which the old one didn't have. We particularly wanted a unit that sits on a standard 12" deep upper cabinet shelf. This Profile operates similarly to the Spacesaver; pretty basic but that's fine for our use. The door of the Profile feels a bit "tinny" compared to the Spacesaver so I'd have expected the Profile to be noisier during operation, but it's actually significantly quieter. We've been using this unit for only about a week but so far it's fine. The main disappointment so far is that it doesn't appear to have a feature for turning off the sound, which the Spacesaver had and which many other GE microwaves seem to have. I've tried the different suggestions I've found online. I downloaded the manual for this model, but it doesn't mention a mute feature. Not the worst problem, but it's nice to be able to do that when you're the first one up in the morning and others are sleeping. Frankly, it'd be a much more useful feature, in my opinion, than being able to connect to Wifi! Needlessly skeptical.... When I opened the box and removed the unit my first thought was oh, this is going back...however, after assembling it I decided to give it a chance. That was a good choice...and so is this little food processor. I was totally surprised at the speed with which it chops, slices, etc. It packs some power that's hidden in its compact size. I've been using it over and over again since then. As far as quantity, well, if you have a larger quantity than it can hold in the jar after slicing its easily emptied and ready for more and does it quickly. I have a larger Cuisinart but love that this one is truly lightweight and comfortably fits in my kitchen cabinets (hate clutter on my countertops). Clean up is a breeze too! So, between my new 3qt Instant Pot, my 4 cup Food Processor and B&D Toaster that were all recently purchased from Wayfair (quick delivery on all !), I have to send out a BIG THANK YOU for having a great line of appliances.. The length of the vent part is 19.75” x 7” x 8.25” The 2nd piece I don’t have dimensions because it’s already installed I forgot to write it down after I having an hour long conversation with customer service talking with 6 different employees who had no idea, until wonderful James saved the day! Thank you James for finding the dimensions for me. GE you need to add the exact dimensions to this product as well as the 10 ft kit, and make it more Clear for your employees and sales reps as well.
