I love the motorized desk. I love that it is a button that controls it, and I don't have to crank it up and down. I wish the pieces were labeled better for "front" and "back" so you don't end up putting the wrong side up or down. That would be helpful. It is going to work perfectly over my walking pad. This desk is gorgeous and great quality. It is exactly as it looks in the images and the color is beautiful. It was fairly easy to assemble, just go show and step by step. I did it by myself, but there is one step that you definitely want a second person to help with. It's the one where you have to hold two panels at the same time. So when you reach that step, don't try it without a friend, otherwise you risk damaging the piece. Also the back panel didn't really align very well, but my desk is against a wall, so that is not a concern for me. But watch out if you plan to have the back of the desk visible.. Vanessa. This desk comes in about nine hundred pieces and is very very tedious to put together. I guess I should have known that but honestly the few hours I had to dedicate to putting it together was a bit of a let down. And then you also realize it’s not as nice of quality as you were expecting since all the pieces are cheaper. But it looks nice enough once it’s together. It gets the job done. Honestly the keyboard tray is why I wanted this and it’s okay, but a little clunky lookingfeeling. I think next time I would try to find a solid wood desk, but for the price I guess you get what you pay for. I only gave this a four star because the cover when I unpacked the box it was cracked on top and a piece broken off on the side - very disappointed. I live in NYC and I always see the FEDEX guys throwing boxes on the street as they unload the trucks no surprise it arrived broken.
