I really love this playset. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. My daughter loves climbing the ladder and look out from the balcony. The playset, with the app to help, was so easy to install. The most difficult thing for me was leveling the area. Otherwise was simple. I didn’t take a star away for this, but I figured I’d write a couple things that I noticed that either needed to be changed or could be done to make the install simpler. The playset used a lot of T-Nuts and if I knew ahead of time, I could’ve hammered them in from a hard surface. It made me think I was going to snap the wood sometimes when I put them on after the wood was up. There was a point on the instructions that said you should put the wall panels on 3 1116” below the board, but if you did that, it wouldn’t have attached at the top. Definitely should be higher. The block under the slide should not be that far back. Instead, the instructions should have you drill the holes for the slide first, put the block on, then attach the slide. Also, the block for the slide should be curved, to account for the hole locations of the slide. Finally, the cross boards for the roof should also have a miter on them so when you bring the two tops together, it connects at a nice 90 degree angle. Thereby limiting the water that comes in. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play set tucks neatly at an angle in the corner of our yard. It has all the features you need! We’ve had kids 2 to 10 enjoying it. The structure does sway with aggressive swinging but you can reduce that by tightening the bolts after you break it in. My only critique to Gorilla is that the estimated time to install the play set should be increased :) it was about 12 hours for us and we rented an auger to drill the holes for the concrete. I spent a lot of time searching for what we wanted in a playset - the first one on the list being a glider swing, which narrowed down the playset options quickly. We also wanted something that was relatively easy to put together, big enough for the kids to enjoy now and grow into without being huge, and some bonus things we wanted were a little side table for them to enjoy snacks outside, a steering wheel and a telescope were also on the "nice to have" list. This fit everything on the list! :) We received it approximately a week after we ordered it, which I felt was pretty fast. I got an email with the scheduled delivery day, and then the delivery guys gave me a call when they were about 30 minutes away and were kind enough to put it into our garage. (where it sat for about 2 weeks until we had time to assemble it). It came in a neat, organized package with no damage. The assembly was pretty straightforward - my husband took a day off work to organize parts and assemble. The instructions were very straightforward to use and he did most of the work alone, with me helping hold things together at just a few points. He was also able to skip steps and put the swings and slide on first, before other things, since the kids were eager to play on it. All parts were there and assembly was pretty easy. (this is great because reviews of other playsets we were considering said assembly was a huge headache). We've only had it up for a couple days and it's gotten a lot of use already and the kids Love it! The rubber coating on the bottom half of the swing chains to avoid pinched fingers is a nice touch. The glider swing and other swings work great and the hardware for everything looks strong and sturdy. There are already a few hairline cracks in the swingset beam and a few other pieces but I'm not worried about it. We plan to stain and treat the wood every year. If you have a very young child (under 2 years old), the spaces on the ladder to climb up may be too far apart for them to climb alone. My one complaint about the playset so far is the slide - because it's a straight molded plastic and not a wave style slide, the kids cannot climb up it, which they like to do, since it's super slippery and steep. Also since it's a straight slide, it is Super fast, almost too fast. My little one is already landing in the dirt because the slide is so fast. I don't mind some dirt and grass on their clothes, but I just hope they don't end up getting hurt because the slide is too fast.
