We love this high-performing hood. We got this to go with our new 48 inch for no double oven range. We needed the high power and it works beautifully! Just a couple of notes… The lights are not dimmable. That would’ve been a nice feature. Be sure to mount the hood low enough so that the bright lights do not distract you while cooking. But we did want four lights… Many Chimney hoods like this only offer three and did not provide the lighting that we were looking for. Several other reviews mention how loud the fan is. This is true. Even on low it’s quite loud. However, other models that we looked at that were more quiet… Were 3 to 4 times the cost. We do a lot of cooking and Are just fine turning up the music or speaking a little more loudly to one another while cooking! Ha ha! The overall quality of the range has been excellent so far. We get compliments about it from all our guests and it really is a statement piece in the center of our kitchen. The only grip I have is that the burners do not turn down enough and the wok burner makes a strange humming sound at any level above 5 when any pan is placed above it. We are used to cooking with stainless cookware and the only usable burner for cooking on lower heat is the simmer burner. The others are just too intense. The grates are really heavy duty. We couldn’t be happier with the Café 23.2 cu. ft. Smart Counter-Depth 4-Door French-Door Refrigerator. For a counter-depth model, the capacity is impressively efficient. The layout makes excellent use of space, and despite being 23.2 cu. ft., it easily holds everything we need without feeling cramped. The four-door configuration is a standout. The middle drawer is extremely versatile and quickly became one of our most-used features, perfect for drinks, snacks, or frequently accessed items. Both the refrigerator and freezer sections are well organized and easy to navigate. The dual-dispense AutoFill water pitcher is another highlight. Having filtered water ready to grab from the fridge is incredibly convenient, and the auto-fill feature works reliably. The dispenser is fast and easy to use while maintaining a clean, integrated look. Being ENERGY STAR certified gives us confidence in its efficiency, and it runs quietly while maintaining consistent temperatures. The smart features are well executed too. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was.
