It is slightly firm (I think why it’s held up well) though it would be much more comfortable with giant couch pillows. We are huge loungers and we have put in a lot of hours on the couch and it’s holding up very well. The couch is a huge hit at family gatherings because everyone fits! I love it! That was a nerve wracking purchase. Most expensive couch I ever bought and online on top of it! There were only 4 or 5 reviews so I felt I was gambling big but I won -) The color is the cream color I wanted. It is a BIG couch but that is what I wanted. The leather is nice and plush and comfortable. My husband thinks it’s a little firm but I prefer it (I have a bad back so support feels a lot better). Over all, great purchase. Pros very nice upholstery, great neutral color and texture, absolutely love the wood base to every piece, the pieces stay in place and don’t slide on our carpet, it’s high quality and heavy, the storage ottomans are super nice with really strong hardware, and I love the versatility of moving sections around. Cons the only thing really is that I wish the cushions were a little thickermore substantial. They have stayed a little bit lumpy since we set it up a week ago.
