Product was as advertised. I would recommend based on appearance and quality feel of the product, i.e. rigid plank, good backing, and surface feel. These reviews helped me and I have a similar complaint within the shipping quality and associated product damage. It seemed to me my planks were damaged in packaging as the boxes themselves were not too bad when they arrived. I’d say 50% (8/16) planks has some kind of damage most of which was damage to the tongues as shown in pictures. Probably two corners were such that I could not use those corners. I chose to install at a diagonal so I had a decent amount of waste or left over so the damage issue didn’t affect me. Do consider this when purchasing. Overall the final product is nice. I ordered samples of this tile in both the white and the black. We decided to use the black because it was not textured. It was smooth. After ordering the tile, what we received was the black tile with the same texture of the white sample. It was not at all what we wanted. New floor looks great. Its softer to walk on than our old sheet vinyl. Moderately easy to install. I recommend lots of extra blades for doing cuts and a steady hand. Used a rubber mallet to help snap some of the tiles together which made the center of the room pretty quick work. If I did this again, I would have opened more of the boxes and done some sorting so that I paid more attention to the placement of the lighter and darker tiles. So far I am very impressed. Bought the grey scale for our basement. Product looks great, sticks nicely, easy to work with. My 13 year old and I laid about 140sqft in just under 3 hours. My recommendations are to definitely do a good job of prepping the surface. We did a serious scrape and vacuum. Then mopped with simple green and then laid down am adhesion primer.
