So hard to find a built in backsplash. I like that it just has a lip and not the full front, lots of those models. When countertop material is expensive this saves needing to buy several feet of material for the little strip of counter in front and back of the sink. It is too expensive, but this saves a little. I love, love, love the sink. Originally we had a cast-iron sink that the finish was worn off of. We tried cleaning it, but this did not help even bleach did not take the stains off of the material. So we decided to put in a new sink unfortunately the sink was very large 42 to 43 inches wide so we are limited on what we could put in there. We found the sink on Wayfair. It was 42 inches wide by 22 inches. We decided to try it when the sink arrived. We looked at it and thought “oh no it’s not gonna fit” but when the plumber came, he was able to get it in and it perfectly fits. This is one of the best upgrades that we’ve done in our house. We’ve had it in for about six months and there are not any scratches or anything like that on it. The cutting board stores easily near the sink. It’s easy to clean and maintain and our whole family loves the upgraded look of the kitchen since putting in the new sink and faucet. Great looking sink, short apron saved us from having to adjust existing base cabinet doors below it. We hired someone to install it, they built a platform to hold the sink added boards for additional support on the sides. Love the modern look with clean lines. Removed one star because water tends to pool on the surface, sides get water spots, corners are square I worry about keeping it clean in the long run - basically all the drawbacks to having a zero radius sink.
