For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. Product is high quality and solid and beautiful. Triple check that the wraparound will fit each install location. I had a 3-drawer stack and my cabinetmaker did not make the 3 drawers exactly the same. This pull worked on 2, but not the bottom drawer. For that I ended up having to buy the same product from Linnea, but top-mount (LNNE1158), not wraparound. One other potential issue is that the interior angle of the wraparound is not a hard 90 degrees (it is, after all, a metal sheet bent into that U shape), so if you have any concerns about the exactitude of your cabinetmaker, consider buying the top-mount instead.. We are very happy with this light. Simple and sleek. It is enough brightness and with the light shining up and down, it seems to not cast any shadows. Really warms the room up great. Connected to a dimmer switch and it’s even better. The metal feels good and the color is great. Only complaint was the install. A little painful to align all the wires and get it level.
