My first one, came apart. Wayfair was great and replaced the chair. The second one see back came apart, but I still had parts from the defective chair to replace the back section of the newer chair. I would go a little higher and buy a sturdier chair I think. This is fine, but in the long term, I don' think it is meant for long lasting.. Cheri. Vineyard Haven, MA. Fri Jan 29 2021
