Surprisingly, the bed almost looks like a full-size bed because of how spacious the room is. If you have a large bedroom and have been debating whether to upgrade to a king-size bed, consider this your sign to do it! Assembly was the only challenging part. It took about two hours to put together, and this is definitely a two-person job. There are quite a few slats that need to be installed, so be prepared to spend some time assembling it. However, once everything was put together, it was completely worth it. The bed feels very sturdy, looks high-end, and paired with our mattress, it is beyond comfortable. This crib is a beautiful color and was very easy to assemble. I also appreciate the spring base that is metal, instead of some cribs that just use plastic. I took one star away because the finish is fragile. My baby is only a few months old and the bars are missing paint from her sleep sack zipper hitting the bars when she rolls around.
