The locksmith came to install the lock and we discovered that two of the four batteries that came with the unit were dead. I called Wayfair's great customer service folks, who are sending out four fresh batteries. Normally this would not be an issue but I have never seen these batteries before. They are CR 123A 3V lithium batteries. In researching these, the internet says the batteries should have a 10-year shelf life, I don't know why they would be dead. The lock seems sturdy and very well made. I have three other keypad locks that take AA batteries and I am constantly replacing them. When I get power on the lock I will update my review.. Brenda. Mounting is simple with an EZLock assembly that locks into place with a turn of the hand. The universal design fits standard round US 3 1/2 drain openings. An included stopper allows you to fill the sink bowl with water and doubles as a plunger to safely push food scraps into the disposal. The kit includes a power cord and flange.
