Rubber-Cal's Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is a 3mm thick virgin rolled rubber mat and runner that is available in either a 36-inch or a 48-inch width that offers excellent traction with wider grooves and protrusions. The surface pattern (which is comprised of wide ridges and valleys) is more prone to trapping and cleaning debris and liquids from heavy foot traffic while maximizing the ease of cleaning and comfort. Wide Rib Corrugated Rubber is designed for light to medium foot traffic where traction and increased safety are needed and performs especially well in transient or temporary applications (e.g. wet aisle ways, catered parties, temporary walkways, etc...). The fabric base finish adds subsurface traction, keeping the runner's bottom surface secure to the floor. Since this product is made from virgin SBR it creates a completely watertight surface, offers moderate chemical resistance, and can be cleaned with most common household cleaners. Strong, highly caustic cleaning solutions (e.g. bleach) are not recommended. The lengthwise running corrugations inherently direct foot traffic as well as maintain a level of safety that is unmatchable by other runner products.

I needed some gym flooring for my home gym that is getting slowly put together. These went on sale and are the perfect fit. They ship wrapped and sealed well, have a slightly rubber smell that isnt going to overwhelm you while they air out, and feel great under your feet. The edges piece together nicely however you may have to lift the edge near the corner to lay 2 together so it does press the other down. Again this is not a big deal. Perfect for what I was looking for. Looks very durable and work well on our balcony. Very easy to install. Peel and stick tiles. The color is exactly as it appears in the picture. Darker is better if you have small pets as a lighter color will show more of the foot traffic. I gave 4 stars verses 5 because I would have preferred it a bit thicker but then again you must consider the weather conditions and how long it will take to dry if it rains or depending on where you live harsh winter weather. November 19,2020 - I wanted to write back and tell everyone that this is even a better carpet than I thought as we had an issue with an item we purchased elsewhere (outdoor heater) and the item we purchased was defected and started a fire when we plugged it an outlet to use. Sparks flew out of the items cord... instead of the carpet going up in flames it just scorched it and didn't go up in flames (see photo).
